Information on how to help the Goat and Rabbit Club Auction
Dear Prospective Livestock Buyers,

Is your business looking for a good investment?  Investing in area youth may be the best investment for your business.  4-H and FFA members are currently working very hard on their market projects for the 2010 Marshall County 4-H and FFA Goat and Rabbit Auction held at 6:00 pm on July 29, 2010, at the "New Arena" on the Marshall County Fairgrounds.  These members work most of the year on their projects, not only raising a fine animal, but working on their project books and learning about the animal and agriculture in general.  We are actively working with these youths to teach them not only how to do the market project, but also about the care, health, and agriculture guidelines in general.  We truly believe that what these members learn in 4-H and FFA will carry over into their adult lives whether they continue to farm or not.

How can you help?  You can help by supporting their efforts by bidding on their projects at the Marshall County Market Goat and Market Rabbit Auction.  Listed here are several ways to buy an animal and other information.  All first-round buyers will have their picture taken with the exhibitor and the animal.  Each first-round buyer will receive a copy for their own publicity purposes.  The Club will also use these photos for our own publicity as well.  Buyers will have their names displayed in our barn on the "Buyers Board" and it will remain there until the following year's auction.  Buyers' names will also be used in several other media areas throughout the year.

We hope to see you at our auction supporting our kids in their efforts.  It is truly a rewarding program.  For more information, you can call us at 304-845-4437 (304-639-2080 July 23-Aug 1) or email us using the button below before July 20.

Thank you!
